Ep #89 Embraced By His Atonement with Stories & Songs by Karyn Lynn Grant

 In this episode, Karyn share's four vignettes as examples in guided visualization and song which depict the miracles that can happen in our lives as we rely upon the Atoning Power of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

 

In the first vignette, a woman who lives in the Savior's time comes to hear the beatitudes on the Sermon on the Mount.  As you listen to this nameless woman's story, visualize yourself being recieved by Him with mercy, love and healing.  Then, listen to her song.  If this applies to you today or at any other time in your life, allow yourself to experience the pure intention of this message.  The message is that the Atonement heals those who have been the victim of unwarranted abuse, mistreatment and/or unrighteous dominion.

 

In the second vignette, Karyn shares the narrative of a woman who shares the symbolism of the Savior's experience in the narration and song, "In The Wilderness".  After the Savior fasted for forty days, He was allowed to suffer great temptations; in heart, mind, body and spirit.  This song reflects the Savior's role in helping us to overcome the temptations that every human soul may  experience and can overcome in the power of His Strength.  His role in helping us to overcome temptations of all kinds is another role of His Atoning Power.

 

In the third vignette, Karyn shares a story of a nameless mother who witnesses the Savior healing gifts upon the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of her child.  This vignette depicts the power of a praying mother for those she loves; that they might experience healing and wholeness on all four levels.  "One Precious Miracle" is yet another example of the Savior's mercy, love and kindness. all experienced as we continue in mighty prayer for His healing gifts to be experienced by those we love and have stewardship over.

 

In the fourth vignette, Karyn tells the anonymous story of a friend who Karyn felt inspired to write the song, "He is My Savior Too" for.  As her friend shared her miraculous story of having a life changing experience, by and through the cleansing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, Karyn was deeply touched.  When her friend shared this experience with her she said, "I suppose I learned the hard way that He is my Savior too."  Karyn has shared this powerful testimony of "Coming Unto Christ" and gaining a complete sense of knowing for oneself that the Savior's love extends not only to the rest of the world, but to each and every one of us.  

 

As the Savior works His many miracles in mighty ways, we discover for ourselves that He came to heal us from our infimaties, from our victimhood, to lead us out of tempation, to give us strength to overcome our own challenges and trials, as well as to bless those who we pray for, that they may be albe to accept and recieve the Gift of His Atonement on a personal level.   In the process, we find that with His love, nothing is impossible.  Miracles can and do occur.  Healing is His Ultimate Gift for the wounded, the weary and the heartbroken.
